Drugs, gangs, dating violence, the date rape drugs, crime, stalking and bullying are issues our children confront on a daily basis. Schools and parents struggle with these seemingly overwhelming issues. We know that part of providing our children with the best possible education involves teaching them the skills and knowledge not only to succeed academically, but also the skills to succeed in life.

Until now part of the problem has been finding the resources to teach our children how to reduce or avoid these dangers and how to keep themselves safe in an increasingly dangerous world. 

Our facilitated discussions talk to teens and teaches them about recognizing and eliminating risk in their lives.  Our programs are facilitated by veteran Peace Officers with over 40 years experience working with "High Risk" youth.

These one hour to ninety minute programs are ideal for school assemblies, professional development days, and special event days. They are completely customizable to reflect the needs of each individual school. Our programs offer a unique and interesting and fun look at the Personal Safety and the social issues that affect young people.  We offer practical solutions to empowerment, mental toughness critical thinking, and lifestyle choices.

StreetSense also offers a full spectrum of Personal Safety and Self Defense training for schools. Our programs are safe, fun and effective in teaching real world Self Defense to teens and faculty. We also offer options for every budget.

Our programs are the result of extensive research and development and utilize  Reality Based Padded Attacker/Assailant training to simulate the physical, emotional and psychological effects of an actual attack. Student's learn how to use strong verbal boundary skills, situational awareness and positioning to de-escalate potentially violent situations and avoid confrontation.  

StreetSafe courses emphasize planning, preparation and prevention. We believe that the best Self Defense is never being in a bad situation in the first place. We teach student's about the realities of crime and how predators select and stalk their victims. Our Reality Based  Padded Assailant training is simple, effective and proven in combat situations. We teach Vital Point Striking and Kinetic Linking to ensure that even small individuals can defend themselves against a larger or stronger attacker. The courses are ideal for girls only and mixed classes. Perfect for a gym class or an extra curricular activity.
