What's The Solution?
Education Utilizing asymmetrical training principles to teach (Verbal boundary skills, De-escalation, The psychology of violence, Adrenal Stress Response, Pre-incident Indicators, Predator Dynamics, Response Options)
Training Reality Based Training scenario's are utilized to teach students how to recognize and avoid common tactics used by predators and criminals. They also learn to deal with the physiological, emotional and psychological responses to crime and victimization.
Implementation Here's where it all comes together. Our programs teach you how to utilize these incredibly powerful tools and develop a Personal Safety Plan that is as individual as you are.
"I've been asked if I'm ever scared when I'm working or if I've ever needed to use what I teach to keep myself safe, both at work and on the street. The answer to both is 'Yes.' A certain amount of healthy fear is what gives you an edge and can keep you alive. To me "Fearless" equals "No survival instinct."
StreetSense programs are designed to help you confront your fear. You'll learn how, when and where crime and violence occur. You'll see the ugly truth behind why in most cases the bad guy has all the advantages. Then we show you how you can develop a "Warrior Mindset" to increase the effectiveness of your Personal Safety and Self Defense plan.
Mental Toughness In many cases what determines survivability in a potentially deadly encounter is not physical conditioning. It's the "Never Quit" attitude that often makes the difference between life and death.
Train the Brain Surprisingly enough. teaching you the physical skills necessary to survive a violent assault is easy. What is hard is re-training your brain to give you permission to do something that could potentially harm another human being.
Warrior Mindset Having a Warrior Mindset is not about being the biggest, baddest person on the block. It's about using your most valuable tactical asset...your brain to either avoid or eliminate any potential threats to your safety or security. It's amazing what changes in your life when you suddenly discover how strong you truly are.
